Job Description:
General Summary of Function

Utilizing database management skills and costumer service experience to maintain constituent records, process gifts, and communicate with donors and peers to support fundraising initiatives

Key Tasks and Responsibilities



• Reconciling donor, registration, and financial database information
• Updating individual and group records on an ongoing basis
• Tracking group communications and relationships
• Coordinating mailings and database-dependent research projects
• Managing systematized appreciation systems such as thank you letters
• Develop and maintain reports to meet fundraisers’ needs
• Communicating directly with donors regarding pledges and payments
• Processing and tracking individual financial contributions
• Coordinate funds collection during and after fundraising events
• Assist with solicitation and collection of funds


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


• 5 years experience in fundraising, accounting or related field
• Knowledge of or highly able to be trained in working with a relational donor database system such as Paradigm, Access or Raiser’s Edge
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
• Ability to work with registration and finance staff to realize information management and reporting objectives


Education Requirement


• Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
• B.A. from an accredited university
