IMMEDIATE JOB OPENING FOR A FULL TIME
OPTICIANS ASSISTANT
Do you have retail experience and a desire to get into the optical industry? Were looking for an individual like you to join our team. As the Optician Assistant, you would assist people with eyeglasses and contact lenses. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a role that offers growth potential and great hours (no holidays, no Sundays!).
Key responsibilities of the Optician Assistant include:
Assisting patients with eyeglasses and determining their needs
Frame recommendation and selection
Repairing, Adjusting and Dispensing glasses
Optical measurements, formulas and use of optical equipment
Rx verification (Quality Control) and application of ANSI standards
Tinting, UV Coating, repairs, lab processes (edging, etc)
Frame, Lens, and supply ordering, and inventory, Frame board management
Entering orders into the system
Checking patient eligibility
Ensuring all patient paperwork is complete
Requirements include:
Experience in retail sales
Detail oriented
Customer Services skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills
High school degree or equivalent
Experience in the optical industry or completion of an optical program is a plus, but not required. We will train!
