Directs processes and develops structures which capture and provide management with appropriate information to make good business decisions; monitors performance variances relative to goals; and establishes structures to ensure attainment of goals. Directly supervises staff accounting positions. Coordinates and supervises global monthly closing activities/reports and financial statement preparation including: General Ledger closing; Consolidated Financial Statement models; International Joint Venture, financial statements and trend reporting; Product Source/Business Unit reporting; Monthly spending trends. Coordinates China monthly reporting and provides guidance with ongoing systems development, transaction processing and reporting. Coordinate financial and international partnership reporting with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans and trends. Communicates key business issues and trends to management.
