You will also be responsible for assisting with developing and implementing tax strategies that minimize tax expenses. Additional responsibilities will include the following: -Assistance with the US corporate income tax return and state income tax return preparation and processing -Preparation of quarterly income tax accrual schedules and reconciliations -Preparation and filing of quarterly estimated income tax payments -Assisting the Tax Managers with the quarter-end and year-end financial close -Assistance with tax audits and research. -Aiding in the domestic aspects of quarterly FAS109 computations -Complying with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements -Other special tax projects as needed. Requirements: -BS in Accounting -At least 3-5 years as a member of a large corporate and/or Big 4 tax department and experience with US tax compliance. -Candidates should be organized, have strong analytical skills, be able to communicate effectively -Must possess strong interpersonal skills -Must be self-motivated and possess strong accounting, and PC skills (Oracle, CorpTax, MS Excel, Word preferred). CPA and MST (or MST Candidates) preferred.
