Job Description:
Must be expert in all property accounting fundamentals including CAM reconciliations, NNNs, tax preparation, financial reporting, and 1031 exchange. Represents the company in a professional manner with integrity and strong leadership skills. Maintains positive working relationships with staff and third parties. Able to manage accounting staff (internal and external) responsible for processing accounts payable, accounts receivable/billing, general ledger, and monthly close activities. Responsible for the development and ongoing preparation of monthly financial and management packages. Responsible for developing financial information to support executive management in the decision making process. Develops, administers and manages budget and forecasting to include longer term strategic planning. Responsible for performance against budget in these areas. Develops and/or enhances existing accounting guidelines, policies and procedures throughout the organization in a consistent, well communicated manner. Ensures financial controls are in place and followed. Assists in the development of process improvements Assist all departments within the company with issues relating to accounting and expense controls. Oversees the daily cash management. Maintains relationship with external CPA firm and banking partner.
