Attest StandardsPosition Location: New York,District of Columbi a , orNorth Carolin a Accountabilities:Actively lead high profile project task forces, as assigned. Provide timely, competent, technical support to the Auditing Standards Board, and its task forces. Provide competent advice and leadership to task forces and chairs concerning the standard-setting process· Working with volunteers, establish appropriate goals and deadlines that are in alignment with AICP A ’s mission. · Identify, research, and comprehend technical issues. · Prepare project plans for approval. · Actively participate in task force meetings and related ASB deliberations. Present solutions and work with task forces/committee to influence their deliberations · Plan meetings and prepare agendas to maximize the task force’s resources. · Schedule task force meetings concentrating on bringing the project to completion (or various stages: exposure draft, final, etc.) · Analyze comment letters and report to the task force the significant issues raised. · Make presentations before appropriate bodies in order to communicate/inform them of need for and benefits from the solution. · Be responsible for the final aspects of the projects including budgets and meeting agreed on deadlines.Draft proposed guidance for task force and ASB review. Written guidance should: · Reflect disparate viewpoints as well as the consensus of the ASB. · Be consistent with existing literature and technically accurate.
