Job Description: GENERAL DESCRIPTION Weidemann Associates is hiring an Office Manager for our busy twelve person international consulting firm. Must be organized, proactive, professional and have excellent communication skills; this position has many duties and little supervision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare and review project monthly invoices • Coordinate overseas travel arrangements, country clearances, hotel reservations, etc. • Process payroll and billing, travel vouchers and expense reports, provide additional support for accounting department as needed. • Maintain files and provide general administrative support • Assist in proofreading and formatting of documents • Serve as benefits administrator • Occasional tasks include: supply ordering, event planning, and acting as a liaison between overseas consultants/staff and home office
Job Requirements: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Minimum 2-3 years office management experience: strong candidates with 2-3 years administrative assistant experience will be considered. Applicants without the required years of experience will not be considered. Experience working in a small office environment will be helpful.
Excellent computer skills: facility with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF and Internet research required, experience with Macromedia Dreamweaver, Sharepoint, and Peachtree desirable. Strong candidates will have experience troubleshooting basic computer and printer issues.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Professional writing and speaking skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Basic understanding of accounting including receivables and payables Experience working with USAID contracts
REPORTING The Office Manager reports to the Controller and the President
