Job Description:
SUMMARY: Senior project manager position to coordinate and deliver on time, profitable National Account and/or Core Commercial installations for assigned customer projects. Project manages installations that require coordination of branch installation resources, customer expectations, and a simple to difficult system/project complexity.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist sales with development of a project plan and estimates for new sales, as assigned.
2. Coordinate National Account and other assigned installation projects:

• Communicates and coordinates with field offices to ensure their understanding of the project requirements, timelines and customer expectations/commitments.
• Coordinates scheduling of field resources with local branch offices in accordance with project requirements.
• Serves as technical resource for projects and assists with coordination of field resources training.
• Ensures proper information and project documentation is coordinated between the NASC and field organization in accordance with project requirements.
• Ensure the NASC has the proper information as needed and has the proper plan in place to exceed the customer’s expectations on all projects.
• Delivers on time installations in accordance with customer expectations.
• Delivers profitable installations in accordance with work order estimates.
• Assure as builts are completed.
• Attend job meetings as required to protect the interests of ADT and our customer as determined by the circumstances.
• Ensure all inspections required for projects are completed and documented.
• Ensure required, detailed documentation is maintained for all projects requiring progress billing.

3. Provide projections on field office’s installation manpower needs to RVP, General Managers, District Installation Managers, and Installation Supervisors. Assist field organization in locating and qualifying subcontractors.
4. Review timelines on all projects to ensure deadlines are met. If a project falls behind schedule provide plant to put the project back on track in accordance with customer/project expectations and deadlines.

5. Develop and communicate resolutions to all levels within the organization as required, in a timely manner to any situations that arise on any project.

6. Develop installer and service technician training classes to certify technicians as required. Interact with necessary departments and National Training Manager as required for successful execution.

7. Ensure every market has technicians capable to technically support project requirements both during installation and future service requirements.

8. Maintain flow of communication between the customer, NASC, National Accounts customer monitoring, Installation and Service Management Team, and National Accounts Sales Management Team on the progress of all projects. Internal communication should be on a frequent basis.

9. Serves as national project manager and technical expert for specific, average National Account Customers.

10. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Four year degree or equivalent industry experience.
Microsoft Project or company approved equivalent, Microsoft Office.
Experience: Five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience installing or servicing integrated systems, to include at least one year of experience leading a team of installers and/or service technicians.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient organizational skills.
Objective oriented.
Technically proficient in all industry system theory.
Ability to manage installation projects from development to completion.
Ability to provide technical assistance and training to both internal and external customers.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Project or company approved equivalent.
Business travel as required.
