Primary Responsibilities: - Prepare monthly/quarterly close financial statements and provide variance explanations - Prepare invoices per sales contracts for license fees and materials - Maintain and take charge of accounts receivable and revenue recognition process - Prepare and monitor weekly cash flow - Perform review and variance analysis to support preparation of monthly management reports for overheads, marketing and other distribution costs - Prepare and post monthly journal entries - Reconcile bank accounts - Compute and prepare sales commission reports - Prepare royalty statements per the contractual obligation with various producers Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and television production accounting or general accounting career experience is required - years of experience in an accounting or finance environment - Proficiency in Excel and Word - Experience with using rights & availability distribution software preferred - Ability to work independently and think critically in an extremely fast paced, deadline driven environment.
