Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial tax reporting with accompanying disclosures regarding for a publicly traded corporation Prepare and review of Consolidated Federal, State and Local income and other tax returns Interaction and communication with company management team Review sales & use and property tax compliance while verifying correct tax treatment of purchases and proper reporting of fixed assets Ability to research corporate tax laws, analyze and quantify effect of tax law changes on a timely basis Provide tax advice and support to all television broadcasting operation locations Coordination with external tax advisors of projects Prepare information submissions regarding IRS and state audits along with managing overall process Respond to inquiries from various tax jurisdictions Assist with tax impact of acquisitions and/or reorganizations related to strategic planning initiatives.
