Responsibilities · Demonstrate an understanding of complex tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations · Provide clients with tax guidance and planning ·Partnership tax returns and related workpapers for hedge funds and other financial services clients · Direct and develop staff · Conduct tax research · Various additional tax services specific to hedge funds and other investments partnerships Specifications / Qualifications · Bachelors Degree required, in a related major · certification and / or a Masters Degree in Tax · Minimum of 4 years relevant public or private tax experience · Proficiency in the areas of federal and state taxation with respect to partnerships · Experience in the area of tax compliance; including partnership federal and state tax return review · Ability to lead and supervise staff, through effective management, while working on multiple projects simultaneously · Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees, both orally and in writing · Ability to promote positive attitudes and work well with team members.
