Job Description:
Essential Job Functions
• Maintain a positive attitude and smile
• Greet customers as they approach the cash register
• Be polite with customers during the transaction
• Must have product knowledge, to effectively service the customer
• Effectively and efficiently complete the financial transaction
• Maintain a neat and clean cashier station
• Assist manager/chef with daily functions in the kitchen, during down time
• All of the above duties and all duties assigned by a manager/chef

Qualifications
Position reports to Food Service Director/Chef. Requires excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment. Additional qualifications include:
• Experience in the food service industry, highly desirable
• Knowledge of running a cash register
• Knowledge of running a credit card machine and credit card transactions
• Math skills for counting money and providing correct change
• Ability to understand and follow directions given by management
