Job Description:
Responding to emergency situations as outlined in the contingency plan- Managing the pumping schedules- Comparing and verifying orders with shippers and schedulers in order to confirm accurate product movement- Documenting product movements, i.e., start-ups, shutdowns, volumes and delays- Updating, recording and configuring data and information for scheduling and accounting purposes- Comprehending and understanding pipeline operations and obtaining a working knowledge of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems- Completing compliance and regulatory training- Committing to and participating in team building processes and supporting any control center and pipeline initiatives. Cross training will be required.Qualifications:To be considered for the role of Pipeline Controller applicants must have:- Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer. - The willingness and ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. - A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. - Basic level computer and software application skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook). - Previous Operations or related field experience.
