Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and Supervises Accounting Staff: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and other accounting functions and personnel Oversight of accounting processes Directs and participates in cost accounting, cost analysis, and cost studies Month End Close Maintains general ledger and subsidiary ledgers and reconciliations, including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Depreciation. Supervises and assists with the preparation of all financial reporting Documentation of SOX controls Fixed Assets Financial analysis Variance Analysis Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls. Plant Budgeting Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting. Works with auditors in verifying financial information/procedures.
