Job Description:
MainCourseMedia is looking for a PR/marketing Intern in our Yonkers, NY recording studio for the summer and fall or as soon as could be started. Internships can count towards school credit if needed. MCM is a professional music production facility and full service media company located in Yonkers, New York. Operating out of two recording facilities, MCM studios feature state of the art production tools and world-class hardware in a relaxed and comfortable environment. The selected intern would be performing a lot of research, phone calls, and email management as well as be fully involved in our marketing and promotional decisions. Please remember, even though there will be hands-on studio opportunities; this is NOT an engineering internship. The ideal candidate has great interpersonal skills and is sales driven. This will more than likely lead to a full-time position for the right individual.

Key Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will have very strong marketing, and interpersonal skills and will take an interest to the inner workings of a record studio, and will be willing to gain a working knowledge of the recording music business. Strong marketing, and interpersonal skills are a must. Marketing and Pr majors a plus. Car owner a plus. Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
