Business Development Executive

As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for representing our company to multiple federal government departments/agencies, as well as private sector customers, in order to identify, qualify and capture new business opportunities. You must be able to articulate our offerings to customers, assess potential department/agency opportunities, develop bid strategies including teaming partnerships, gather all pertinent information for bid team to make "Go/NO-GO" decisions, and explain analysis to others. You must also have the ability to work to deadlines, on high profile tasks and collaborate with multiple clients and client organizations. You will develop and nurture your client call list (including clients in federal government, as well as commercial enterprises and teaming partners). Most travel will be local from our offices in Rockville, MD to agencies and companies within Washington, DC area. Occasional long distance travel will be required, such as to customers outside immediate Washington, DC area as well as to conferences, trade shows and other like marketing events

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor�s degree along with 10+ years in key positions within companies contracted to Federal agencies and 5+ years experience marketing and/or business development. This motivated team player will also possess the following skills and abilities:
� Track record of capturing new business
� Track record of meeting/beating assigned sales quota preferred
� Technical background or systems engineering experience a plus
� Track record of working to intense work schedules
� Ability to multi-task, prioritize and expedite job responsibilities and initiatives
� Strong communication skills with the ability to meet new people and efficiently gather required information
� Self-starter, highly motivated

Benefits:
In exchange for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $90,000 depending on your experience, excellent benefits package and a positive, fun working environment full of stability and learning opportunities.
