Job Description:
This position is a key leader on the senior management team, working closely with the creative, technology, and client services domains to infuse strategic thinking into all aspects of our business. The position is responsible for managing and leading a team of strategists in all aspects of the strategic planning process and marrying strategy with in-depth customer insight. This position needs an innovative thinker with experience identifying unique messaging opportunities and concepts that can be successfully realized in interactive media for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Must have in-depth digital strategy experience.
Responsibilities
•Partners with Client Services, Creative and Technology domains to offer both the work and the client more robust customer insight
•Be involved in client initiatives, at various stages of the process, in order to gain understanding of customer core needs and provide strategic thought leadership
•Creates and designs new methodologies to further explore underlying customer motivations
•Becomes integrated in the strategic planning process with the clients to help direct it outcomes
•Spots and analyzes technology trends, both inside the category and in society at large that brands can take advantage of
•Works to develop strategic insight into the positioning for new business opportunities, product launches, new indications or repositioning of mature lifecycle brands
•Build/manage a successful Strategic department that can help lead in innovative thinking and offering new approaches for new and continuing clients
Job Requirements:

•Bachelors degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
•In-depth digital strategy experience
•Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with management, account and creative teams as well as clients
•Experience in planner function – within another agency is preferred
•5-7 years experience in marketing or advertising
•3-5 years experience in a senior management and/or managing a team
•Travel up to 30% of the time
•Strong presentation skills
