We are seeking a Receptionist to work in office located in Lorton, VA. This is a great opportunity for an individual with receptionist/office experience who is willing and enthusiastic about learning and acquiring news skills and knowledge. The primary duty is to operate a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls, directs calls to appropriate departments, and greets visitors and delivery personnel. We are seeking a Receptionist to work in office located in Lorton, VA. This is a great opportunity for an individual with receptionist/office experience who is willing and enthusiastic about learning and acquiring news skills and knowledge. The primary duty is to operate a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls, directs calls to appropriate departments, and greets visitors and delivery personnel. Qualified candidate should have knowledge & experience in general office skills including typing, handling phones, processing reports and composing correspondence. Other duties will include filing, faxing and providing general office support to various staff members. Candidate must also demonstrate verbal ability to provide customer service. Microsoft Office skills required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet telephone callers and visitors and find out the nature of their inquiry.
• Provide information to assist clients or refer them to appropriate contacts.
• Transcribe proposals in to WORD document template.
• Gather information & generate service ticket for technicians from customer phone call.
• Retrieve & route after-hour phone messages.
• Handle light filing and occasional mailings (ie: holiday cards)
• Maintain new employee hiring forms for distribution as necessary
• Use MS Excel to key data for report maintenance.


Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• 2+ years previous office experience, preferably in a Receptionist role
• Knowledge of MS Office software
• Must possess excellent telephone etiquette skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Willingness and enthusiasm for learning and acquiring news skills and knowledge
• Ability to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
• Well organized, dependable and punctual
• High School diploma or GED required
