Responsibilities Include: Managing all aspects of technology licensing program life cycles, from technology identification to closing profitable licensing deals for HP Gathering information regarding corporate structures, industry alliances, and customer relationships of candidate licensees. You must be able to comprehend and interpret financial, marketing, competitive intelligence and other business information, including understanding the candidate licensee's business strategies, decision making processes/hierarchies, as well as the personalities and motivations of decision makers and deal negotiators Researching information relating to the products of candidate licensees to determine the applicability of HP's IP and technologies to the candidate's products - information that would help HP understand how the candidate licensees might respond to HP's offer of license Develop technology licensing programs including technology valuations, technology licensing strategies, market positioning, technology licensing pricing and terms based on market analysis and candidate licensee business models Comprehending a potential licensees product lines and apply HPs IP from technology know-how to bare patents.
