Job Description:
Mall security officer patrols the interior and exterior of the mall common areas. Is observant and documents all events and abnormalities of the property, its tenants and customers. Works hand-in-hand with onsite management team and is the direct liaison to local police and fire responses. Officers will be responsible for opening and closing the mall up, passing out informational flyers, enforcing code of conduct violations, tenants lease violations, providing customer service to customers, documenting accidents reports, minor clean ups to prevent slip & falls, monitor the fire system and report all maintenance hazards and repairs to the lead technician. Officer will wear an issued uniform and duty belt with equipment. Officers will be required to posses or obtain a valid state Guard Card, First Aid/CPR, and OC/Pepper Spray cards.
Job Requirements:
Applicants must posses and current state driver’s license and guard card. All perspective applicants must be able to pass a criminal and vehicle background check, drug screening, and personal interview evaluation. Applicants can not have any prior convictions for a felony or aggravated misdemeanor, DUI or suspended driver’s license and/or current illegal drug use.
