The Deputy Director, HVAC/Mechanical Engineer will be well versed in working with multi-disciplined engineering capital project teams, as well as other project related cross-functional teams. This individual will lead the URS development, specification, engineering design, FAT and SAT, and initial start up, commissioning and participate in the validation of HVAC and Building Management Systems. Responsibilities also include providing engineering support for HVAC and Building Management Systems, and balancing technology, cost and maintainability in determining and applying solutions to projects. Along with the Project Manager, this position is the primary interface with outside engineering consulting firms. The selected candidate will provide recommendations on Code compliance, equipment selection, value engineering, construction implementation and commissioning; interface with construction, and cGMP Validation of mechanical systems; and assist the Engineering department with developming corporate standards and guidelines.
