Engineering Description Company Licensing Team Intellectual Property Business Development Manager Within HPs Intellectual Property Licensing Group, the Intellectual Property Business Development Manager works with a broad cross section of engineering, business, finance, and high level legal professionals, both within and outside HP to close licensing deals that realize the best value for HPs Intellectual Property (IP) assets. Work with HP Labs ( Palo Alto) Directors and researchers to develop technology transfer licensing assessments and create technology out-licensing programs. Develop technology market positioning, go-to-market plan, implement technology transfer licensing engagements with key stakeholders, create licensee alliances and negotiate deals to close. Essential Responsibilities Include: Managing all aspects of technology licensing program life cycles, from technology identification to closing profitable licensing deals for HP Gathering information regarding corporate structures, industry alliances, and customer relationships of candidate licensees
