Job Description:
Responsibilities for this position include: - Assemble and execute new business strategies include preparing to engage a new pursuit as the customer timing allows and then must assemble a strategy and execute as the leader. - Candidate must also be able to lead multi-company and multi- functional teams through pursuit, proposal and negotiation tasks in accordance with company policies. - Leadership duties will include scope, technical, schedule and/ or cost discussions, as well as potential strategic partnerships with key customers and suppliers. Requirements for this position include: - A BS in engineering or science and is preferred to also have a MS in engineering or MBA. - Preparation and coordination of proposals, white papers, press releases and other customer and communications. - Have knowledge of the marketplace in assigned areas and keep track of developments and responses as necessary. - Background in DoD space programs, funding and customers. - Experience as a program manager, project engineer or Business Development Professional is preferred. - US citizenship or permanent residency is preferred.
