Job Description:
Expertise is needed in maintaining temperature & humidity levels for a Museum envt. Duties include managing the execution of preventive & corrective maintenance & installation of new equipment; providing leadership & supervision to Dept staff; procuring goods & services; maintaining ON Call staffing for the Museum's 24 hrs/ day operation, & managing a dept budget. Qualifications: Considerable experience & knowledge in maintaining, repairing, & installing a wide variety of HVAC equipment & general maintenance repairs. Working knowledge & experience with computerized Building Automation Systems including field devices such as electronic & pneumatic controls. The ability to communicate well, both verbally & in writing, & utilize personal computer office software products & work order systems. HS graduate with certification in appropriate trades' background. Experience supervising personnel, scheduling staff & managing an operating budget desired. A valid VA Driver's License & HVAC Tradesman's License, CFC Certification, & security background check required. This position is open until filled.
