Company Company is seeking a Director, Application Solutions-Supply Chain-Manufacturing-Supply & Transportation Planning in Oak Brook, IL. The primary function of this position is to work with the business/functions to define IT project priorities and design and implement solutions consistent with IT Strategy and the rolling 3-year capital investment plan for applications for Company Company. Key responsibilities may include the following: 1) Lead and manage project/track implementations and partner with a VP of Application Development on major programs design and management; 2) Manage the overall IT application relationship of assigned business/functional areas and understand business requirements or changes that require IT actions to support; 3) Prepare program and/or project requests, priorities and plans for assigned areas of applications and initiate approved programs and projects based on Project Management Office (PMO) procedures and guidelines; 4) Validate/define detailed project/track scope, objectives and dimensions and define business/functional work process designs; 5) Ensure the development of technical solution designs and document technical specifications and manage the Programming /Configuration of application solutions; 6) Manage the implementation application solutions and the maintenance of application solutions; 7) People management/development. This position will be located primarily in Oak Brook, IL. There is regular travel to Battle Creek, MI and potential travel to other US and International locations in Company regions. Candidate is required to work in conditions in which there are extended work schedules, multiple, conflicting and changing priorities, and specific time constraints.
