Job Description:
Responsibilities: Work closely with the VP, Business Development and NBD Strategy team to: 1) Analyze the strategic landscape and establish key partnerships in the following areas: Content (film, TV, music, UGC) including evolving business models Connectivity (such as WiFi, WiMAX, Mobile broadband) to extend access for content in the Dell-ZING ecosystem and enable ubiquitous access Web services including e-commerce, social networking, LBS, emerging models 2) Frame the overall competitive landscape to help drive business development strategy re:partner identification and prioritization for the Dell-ZING ecosystem 3) Execute the on overall content and service strategy for Dell-Zing ecosystem by identifying and prioritizing partners, negotiating and closing deals 4) Work closely with the Zing team in California and the Dell team in Texas on deal communication, co-ordination and execution. The team includes strategy, account management, sales, and project management Job : Marketing - Business Development Qualifications : years experience working in a corporate role in consumer technology, music services, entertainment services, web services and/or interactive, or at a tier one mobile carrier years of related work experience with Bachelor's degree required Buy or sell side business development experience in a content focused organization Experience and relationships with key industry partners such as film, TV, social networking, UGC, internet companies and/or top tier mobile carriers. Strong experience with the deal cycle, negotiations, and a large deal pipeline.
