Job Description:
POSITION The Chief Financial Officer position reports to the Executive Vice President and is responsible for financial services including: short- and long-term financial planning, operating budget development and control, financial reporting, internal control and compliance, cash management, grants and contracts management, capital projects financial management, general business operations, and the operation of the College's integrated and automated financial management system. The successful candidate will provide strategic and entrepreneurial leadership to ensure the College's financial management services are provided exceptionally. The accounting and budgeting staff is experienced and extremely effective. The CFO must be diplomatic, personable, dynamic, fair and committed to supporting the teaching and learning environment. The primary challenges of this position include: Improving and enhancing the College's long-term financial management. Improving and maintaining the College's financial health. Overseeing an effective, transparent and inclusive budget process. Supporting campus-wide initiatives and programs. Supporting the accreditation process. Salary and Benefits: This is an exempt, full-time, administrative position with a salary range of $77,000-$87,000, depending on experience. The benefits are standard State of Washington benefits. This includes a comprehensive health insurance plan and basic life and disability insurance.
