Job Description:
Senior Accounts Receivable Manager Description Under direction, plans, directs, manages, and evaluates the collection activities for the managed care unit: increases managed care cash flow and resolves aged receivables by directly managing receivable staff and supervisor; analyzes aged accounts receivables for clinical departments; develops targets for revenue, write-offs, collection referrals and action plans to meet goals; creates and utilizes financial spread sheets, standard and customized reports to analyze accounts; communicates regularly and develops relationships with managed care payers to resolve unpaid receivables; researches, develops, implements and trains staff on the use of Firm Centricity Business System and non-FirmCB applications; performs other job related duties as required. Qualifications College degree required; must have 4 years experience with multi-specialty physician billing and collection experience in a large academic medical center with in-depth knowledge of automated practice management system rejection subsystem); excellent communication, supervisory and skills required. No relocation assistance is provided for this position.
