Responsibilities Manages the activities of the Accounts Payable associates, ensuring proper and consistent compliance with company approved policies and procedures. Manages the day-to-day efforts of the accounts payable department to ensure accurate review and resolution of disputed and/or unresolved A/P issues. Responsible for managing consistent practices with associate relations functions such as hiring, terminations, performance management, development and training. Manages workflow and continuously evaluates performance of Accounts Payable associates based on goals and objectives developed by the Accounts Payable Director; performs the appropriate level of counseling and coaching in order to maintain optimal performance standards and keep associates motivated and engaged. Provides regular feedback to the Accounts Payable Director and escalates issues when appropriate; provides feedback for opportunities to improve standard operating procedures. Supports Accounts Payable Supervisors with staff development and managing their daily activities.
