Job Description:
Responsible for growing, maintaining, penetrating specific accounts and identifying new business opportunities in the NY, NJ, PA and surrounding areas. The selected candidate will conduct sales calls to prospective and established customers, utilize market analysis and maintain sales programs, perform transactional sales with focus on developing consultative approach, provide quotations to customer, present informal proposals and formalize sales proposals to individuals and groups, monitor competitive activity, trends, and impacts within territory, research products, services, industries and impact of existing business and generation of new business, analyze customers by industry to develop approaches to prospective or current customers, generate reports for customers regarding expenditures, volume, and transportation costs and/or savings, and develop specialized knowledge in the chemical industry. The selected candidate will develop strategies to satisfy the needs of customers and the company; manage key customer accounts; and keep abreast of all price changes and market information from suppliers. Bachelors Degree in Business or technical field preferred. Proficientt in Microsoft Office applications, strong analytical and project management skills required. A minimum of Five (5) plus years of marketing and chemical sales experience desired.
