Responsibilities Planning, overseeing, and executing multiple audits in a specific business unit. Reviewing and editing planning memos prepared by Senior Auditors and Audit Project Managers. Preparing/reviewing audit reports and work papers. With appropriate oversight, and on a limited basis, interacting with regulatory bodies. Serving as technical subject matter expert regarding the general audit process and operational processes of specific business units. Coordinating follow-up with business areas, documenting outstanding recommendations, and ensuring compliance with final recommendations. Working closely with key individuals in Operations and Finance staff when conducting audits. Providing training and guidance/oversight to Senior Auditors and Audit Project Managers as needed. Developing skills among audit team members to sustain team motivation while meeting corporate audit goals. Experience 8+ years of audit experience Knowledge/Skills Comprehensive knowledge of several operational areas being audited. Good operational/financial background, including strong knowledge of all DTCC operations, with a high level of understanding of the various systems/applications used in business areas. Solid understanding of the roles of the various parties involved in the audit process (e.g. DTCC audit staff, regulators, senior management team). Excellent team-building skills.
