Job Description:
Senior Tax Manager A Firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager. This position will be responsible for working with all the businesses to develop processes to collect, document and support the calculations including conducting studies and reviews as appropriate. Serve as technical resource to the businesses; ensure that all appropriate disclosures and reporting procedures are being followed as specified in the Setting general reporting policy and guidelines to ensure consistency in the company consolidated return. Building and managing processes and tools to collect and track all statements, elections and attachments. General review of statements for completeness and accuracy. Manage the annual survey process to document company exposure and obligations to report. Continuously monitoring legislation for new listed transactions and transactions of interest. Responsible for reviewing the federal consolidated tax return (vi a compliance and reporting systems) to identify potential transactions for disclosure. Responsible for the overall return review, preparation of elimination entries, and consolidated return calculations. Areas of responsibilities for the consolidated return and would include, but not limited to: General Business Credits, utilization and tracking, Tax calculations, Calculation of Utilization and tracking credits including sourcing for Consolidated forms disclosure statements and attachments. Review tax returns for the significant corporate entities and components of Parent Company Responsible for several corporate calculated schedule ms primarily in the are a of employee benefits.
