Description:Firm is currently assisting our Richmond based client with their search for a dynamic Payroll Manager. The overall purpose of this position will oversee the daily operations of the Payroll department. The primary duties of the Payroll Manager position include: · Managing, coaching and developing staff · Ensures compliance to Firm standards, labor agreements, tax regulations, and timely completion of quarterly multi-state and federal tax filings, annual reporting, and· Identifying and managing new or existing payroll projects · Serving as a strategic partner to the business and ensure that the Payroll department is being represented in the Firm's corporate strategy · Identifying and manage the use of internal and external, payroll resources · Manage resources to identify and develop complex solutions to payroll related issues · Participate in cross-departmental and corporate committees designed to implement or improve payroll programs and services
