Job Description:
Firm is looking for a Tax Manager to manage up to 10 Tax Preparers in a department consisting of 26 tax professionals. This person will have open communication with Trust Administration Management to assist with compliance and tax related questions. This person will also be responsible for: Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews. Managing and directing the work of the team in order to provide timely, accurate, and professional tax services for the trust department. Reviews, prepares and submits tax returns for fiduciary accounts assigned. Works to minimize tax liability for assigned accounts. Assures that work done by the Trust Tax Team complies with all the applicable federal, state, and local laws.
