Job Description:
Responsibilities of the position are to ensure that the Company (1) is provided the highest quality tax advice, including coordinating advice from outside advisors, (2) has the appropriate level of technical tax analysis and scrutiny applied to tax planning opportunities, (3) properly documents tax planning projects, (4) has uncertain tax positions adequately reviewed and documented, (5) is educated in current legislative and regulatory events and their impact on the Company, and (6) has adequately influenced favorable legislative and regulatory initiatives. Has an expert level of knowledge of federal, state and international tax laws. The positions planning activities span all international taxes in all local jurisdictions. Responsible for worldwide tax planning initiatives. Maintain and apply working knowledge of Standards of Business Controls and meet managements expectations for effective internal business controls. Required: . Undergraduate Degree in Accounting recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. 7+ years of professional tax experience in a large corporate environment or public accounting or law firm .
