Job Duties:1. Performs necessary research to insure proper accounting and disclosures for the company's 8K, 10Q and 10K reports.2. Assists in the preparation of the Annual Report and Proxy Statement.3. Maintains knowledge of all accounting and Securities and Exchange literature and regulation additions, deletions and changes and directs compliance thereto.4. Reviews all financial statements and footnotes to the company's quarterly and annual financial statements to insure proper disclosure and adequacy.5. Interfaces with the company's consultants for purposes of calculating certain annual costs and budgets for the company's domestic pension plan, post retirement benefit plan, medical, dental and life insurance benefit plans, worker's compensation programs and other valuation issues.6. Prepares periodic compliance reports and files same as required.7. Prepares analysis as requested to update management on the cost of benefit plans and alternatives thereto.8. Collects data from the company's subsidiaries and divisions necessary to file the company's US tax returns and interfaces with the company's tax filing agent.9. Responsible for the activities of the Disclosure Committee on all matters requiring disclosure.10. Participates in the preparation of schedules and provides guidance regarding disclosure requirements for quarterly earnings press releases and the quarterly earnings conference calls.
