Job Description:
The Accounts Payable Manager will manage a centralized department for a $600 million transportation company; Manage a staff of 4; Manage the implementation of new software related to accounts payable; Define process flows for the major expenditure types including Contract Services, Recurring Rents, Credit Cards, Ensure that invoices are properly coded in accordance with the Chart of Accounts; Resolve exceptions and on-hold invoices; Develop performance metrics; Monitor and report on Assist in month end close related to cut-off and accruals; Ensure that 1099s are properly processed at year end.Requirements:Baccalaureate in Accounting or Finance preferred5+ years managing an Accounts Payable function for a $500 million + companyExperience with an system that requires system matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts as well as utilizes blanket purchase orders and recurring contractsKnowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and WordExperience with Infinium financial software a plus.
