Job Description:
The role will be responsible for assisting and leading critical projects related to emerging accounting areas, acquisitions, divestitures, and other financial reporting issues. This position will require interaction with the and other senior level business leaders. The Director of Accounting Research and Special Projects will also assist in due diligence and take the lead in integrating acquired businesses into the corporation. This individual will be involved in updating and preparing accounting policies, overseeing reporting, and being active in system implementations and upgrades. Experience: To be considered for this position, the candidate should have at least six years of accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting experience, a CPA, and a strong technical accounting background. Experience managing special projects is also preferred. The candidate should have experience interacting with upper management and have excellent communication skills.
