A $25M family owned business that roasts, imports, and distributes coffee with a diverse set of clients including restaurants, hospitals, small to large businesses is seeking an experienced controller for their Long Island City location.Experience: Description/Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Accounting and CPA certification- Stable background - will not look at jumpy candidates- Must have experience in manufacturing or distribution industry preferably related to food- Responsible for leading all accounting and analysis functions including closing the books, Budgeting, Forecasting, financial statement preparation, management reporting and other ad hoc projects- Will supervise 4-5 people - Liaise with outside CPA firm and provide necessary reports- Interact with manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain and inventory divisions- Has worked with and has worked on systems implementation- Spanish speaking a ++- The person must be dynamic, have good team building and people skills- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
