RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate timing of filings with external and internal legal counsel and external auditors, coordinate financial statement reviews and discussion of disclosure issues with company's executive management team and external auditors, draft commentary for external press releases, assist in coordinating annual shareholders' meeting and regular presentations to investors, assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls for compliance, ensure compliance with and Firm reporting requirements including evaluation the impact of recent and proposed pronouncements, coordinate and review impairment testing with outside consultants, manage company's commercial insurance program including annual renewal work and ongoing product liability reporting with carriers, assist in preparation of pro forma business models of potential acquisitions and determine the purchase accounting and disclosure requirements, liaise with outside tax consultants and external auditors in preparation and review of current and deferred income taxes in accordance.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 8+ years experience in accounting, 3+ years experience with reporting required. Advanced degree and/or CPA certification preferred.
