Job Description:
Responsibilities include by are not limited to the following: Operates and maintains equipment and systems so that appropriate gallery temperature and humidity are maintained. Prepares and distributes temperature and humidity graphs, charts, and analyses. Establishes mechanical maintenance manuals and routines for all HVAC equipment. Regularly tests emergency generator, including ATS testing of the equipment. Operates, maintains and services electrical equipment and plumbing systems and components. Maintains and tests standpipe and sprinkler systems including special fire pump with booster pump. Assists with the installation and modification of building equipment systems. Inspects buildings, grounds and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years actual practical working experience in maintenance, operation and repair of HVAC equipment. Experience with absorbers and other mechanical components including automated building management systems, emergency generators and fire-related equipment.. Experience in servicing, repairing and maintaining basic building components including doors, door hardware, electrical switches, outlets and lighting fixtures, toilet facilities, etc.
