Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. About the Position: You will perform a variety of methodology development and analyses covering communications networks, communications systems performance, and network modeling. Knowledge of communications technologies include: modulation/demodulation techniques, error detection/correction codes, antennas, network protocols, optical systems, radio frequency propagation, and electronic warfare. You will conduct studies of current and future communications systems to determine their effectiveness, susceptibility to countermeasures, and technical risk. You must use judgment and originality in determining course of action, using advanced techniques and approaches, or extending existing theories, precepts or practices.
