Paid Training:
Certification awarded upon successful completion of both a paid academy training program and state exam.
Salary:
- $30,216; $31,800 after training; $33,492 after completion of one year.
Job Requirements:
•Be at least 19 years of age
•Be a citizen of the United States
•Be a high school graduate or its equivalent
•Be in good physical condition
•Be of good moral character; no felony arrest (s) or misdemeanor convictions involving moral character, perjury or false statement and must not have been convicted of a crime involving domestic violence.
•Successfully complete the following steps in the hiring process: Testing, Interview, Background Investigation including Credit Worthiness and Criminal Record, Psychological Evaluation, Polygraph Examination, Drug Screening, Physical Agility Test, Medical Examination, etc.
