Responsibilities: Hands-on management of a team responsible for reporting, equity accounting, business process and Sarbanes- compliance. Actively identify opportunities to maximize the use of analysis and metric-driven evaluation. Lead by example; serve as a teacher and point of reference for other team members. Complete Firm accounting of acquisitions and other complex accounting issues. Keep current on Firm accounting issues. Proactively analyze new pronouncements for impact to ArthroCare. Implement new process to ensure accurate and timely use of the principle and disclosure in the external reports. Understand, document, provide recommendations for process improvement, including the gaining buy-in from business process owners
