RESPONSIBILITIES: For each of the following, timely and accurate, minimizing tax liabilities to the extent allowable under law, minimizing risks and maintaining appropriate written documentation. 1. Manage process of developing, analyzing, and tracking international items for federal income tax return, extensions, and quarterly estimates for and subsidiaries. 2. Manage process and review quarterly tax account analyses related to international. Develop and document 48 positions. 3. Develop and implement process improvements in the international tax area. 4. Assist with the development and implementation of tax planning opportunities related to foreign operations. 5. Develop international responses for and state audits. Assist with dispute resolution of audit issues. 6. Advise Fiserv domestic and international business units regarding foreign tax related issues, policies and procedures. Transition new international business operations. 7. Monitor current and proposed, and foreign, tax law and tax accounting changes. Proactively identify and assess changes with an impact on Fiserv. 8. Special projects, including coordinating external advisors, tax research, and assistance on international tax due diligence. 9. May require some business unit travel.
