The Controller will oversee our accounting and finance department. A description of what we are seeking in a Controller is below. Manage the month-end process and the timely and accurate maintenance of general ledger and preparation and reporting of monthly financial statements.Identify and resolve accounting issues.Monthly review of account analysis for all accounting systems including inventory,chargeback's, fixed assets, intangibles and accruals etc.Oversee reporting for the Bank and Parent company.Assess operating performance against plan and forecasts.Coordinate and oversee the annual budget process.Work with members of the executive team in matters of business strategyOptimize cash flow through effective management of accounts receivable and accounts payable. Prepare and analyze cash forecasts.Insure compliance with filing/remittance requirements under federal and provincial income and capital tax laws, internal controls in addition to any other statuary reporting obligations. Assist in the sales area regarding quotes/ margin evaluations and oversee billing.Manage execution of physical inventory for year end certified auditsInterface with external auditorsInternal management of and review company price structures. This will involve analyzing distributor margins, current discount levels and average price support.
