Job Description:
Responsibilities: Accurate preparation of monthly financial statements, consolidations and management reporting General ledger reconciliations, cash management, indicative cost of funds reporting, treasury trade processing, asset/liability and cash management Ensure the accounting treatment of leases is in accordance with and other accounting guidance Analysis of monthly General ledger activity to the lease accounting system Work with the firm's external auditors on accounting issues, quarterly reviews and yearly audits Requirements: 5+ years equipment/property lease accounting experience within a financial institution Experience in operations processes and reconciliations Experience with sales use tax & property tax. Strong knowledge of accounting policies and procedures Accounting fundamentals and a knowledge of finance Banking and audit experience a plus Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint BS in Accounting / Business.
