Job Description: The Audit Project Manager is responsible for managing an audit project portfolio in a matrix management environment, interacting with senior management to identify and manage global business risks, construct audit plans, oversee the successful and high quality execution of the audit plans, leverage in-depth business and technical knowledge to bank’s advantage, negotiate sensitive issues between multiple areas that may impact entire organization direction, and educate auditors in audit disciplines. Job Requirements: Four-year degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or other related financial areas Minimum 8 years of auditing experience (6 years of public accounting or financial institution audit experience may be considered) . Possess designation as a Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Public Accountant. Must have strong audit, team leadership, coaching, building of effective teams, customer service, goal setting and achieving, active listening, assimilation of information, analytical, communication, negotiation, writing, presentation, and judgment skills. Personal time management, initiative, commitment to high quality, financial acumen, and flexible/adaptability attributes are required. Project management, development of organizational talent, and motivation skills a must. Will be required to handle confidential and proprietary information. Possess thorough knowledge of Bank policies, procedures and practices in assigned areas with knowledge of laws and regulations governing banks and industry best practices.
