Responsibilities: Supervise payroll staff Provide direct reports with leadership, direction and training to achieve work objectives Ensure payroll practices are in accordance with company policy as well as federal, state and Canadian provincial regulations. Review payroll prior to release to ensure accurate, timely and proper payment to approximately 4000 employees. Create and update payroll procedure documentation Provide payroll reports to management Partner with Human Resources on electronic uploads for acquisitions Perform statutory reporting for payroll Work on cross functional projects with other organizations Requirements: Previous Payroll experience required Detail oriented with positive take charge attitude. Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills Probusiness and Canada systems experience preferred Ability to create ad-hoc reports in Probusiness and Reportsmith Must be proficient in Canadian payroll regulations Microsoft windows, Word and Excel experience required Ability to researc.
