Job Description:
Responsibilities include by are not limited to the following: Operates and maintains HVAC equipment and systems so that appropriate gallery temperature and humidity are maintained. Utilizes computerized Building Management Systems, as part of the daily work routine. Performs routine and preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment including boilers, electric chillers, gas absorption chillers, air handling units, fans, DDC controls, VAV units and similar equipment. Prepares and distributes temperature and humidity graphs, charts, and analyses. Establishes mechanical maintenance manuals and routines for all HVAC equipment. Regularly tests emergency generator, including ATS testing of the equipment. Operates, maintains and services electrical equipment and plumbing systems and components. Maintains and tests standpipe and sprinkler systems including special fire pump with booster pump.
